I heart DVF's Tuvallu dress.

Sigh! I can't afford it but i'm still allowed to obsess, right? In my opinion Diane Von Furstenburg is my go-to designer when it comes to print dresses or skirts. This particular dress could just as easily be worn casually with jeans or dressy with heels and a clutch.

Keyshia Cole illustrates how it can be worn as a sexy minidress at the iflookscouldkill.com fashion event by Toyota.

**************
Speaking of 'if looks could kill', have you guys checked out the webisodes? It follows an aspiring fashion designer, Bianca, who's involved in international espionage by night. The viewer can interact with Bianca to help her unravel the mystery that has suddenly become her life. The first episode is called 'Haute Pursuit' and other episodes will keep rolling-out.

Here are some photos from the Launch party:

There is an upcoming event in Chicago on the 26th - I was sent a flyer but can't figure out how to include it here, lol!

Don't you step on my new gold shoes

Yes! I finally found gladiator sandals for my big feet. Now i can join the masses in rocking this summer staple. I yelped rather loudly when they arrived out of the excitement of my purchase and of having the post guy turn up at my desk for the first time since i started at my office. Lol! Everyone else gets something in the mail.

Anyway, I open the box and as usual, the quality is not great but beggars can't be choosers. Every girl with big feet knows that unless you are willing to pay a minimum of £70 for shoes, then you must be willing to skip on quality.
They are from this website www.tallgirls.co.uk and they do sizes 9-11

Before D&G sues me...

A little correction on my previous post 'Jessica finally gets it right'. While trolling the net trying to find more details about the clutch (not that i can afford it), I realised after many many hours of googling "D&G snakeskin patchwork clutch" that it is NOT by Dolce and Gabbana! The clutch is from Minority.

Lol! My bad! But i really just assumed because they have used that style of patchwork before.

Another fabulous dress...3.1 Phillip Lim Orchid strapless dress

I love the neckline on this dress, its playful but sexy. It's a multi-tasker too. Perfect for cocktail parties in the summer and a great look worn with tights and a blazer when autumn rolls in. It also comes in a bronze metallic colour.

These Kurt Gieger Elixir yellow stilletoes add the perfect pop of colour to this ensemble. It makes me really jealous of ladies with normal sized feet (i'm a UK 11). I think they make a change from the popular bright patent shoes.

I like the interesting simplicity of this Vivien Cheng 'ocean ray' clutch purse. It's bang on trend with its colour block design and won't detract too much attention from the dress and shoes.

And to give it some edge, this crystal deco bangle is inspired!! It mixes glossy enamel with sparkling clear crystals and comes in three colours. The white is called "St. Tropez". The black is called "Monaco," and "Soho" is in purple. Very clever names, right?

Jessica finally gets it right!

I don't think I have ever been inspired by anything this lady has ever worn but she really did good on this outfit.

The yellow pleated dress is in a shade of yellow that I adore and instead of boring black shoes or run-of-the mill espadrilles, she opts for these interesting but not over-the-top Azzedine Alaia Python Platform Sandals. I also think her choice of bangles ties the look together.

And my favourite thing of all...that Killa patchwork clutch bag! I have been meaning to invest in an oversize clutch but so far have not been inspired until now. The one Jessica has is Dolce & Gabbana but seeing as I'm still on a modest salary, i will be looking for my inspiration on the high street :-)

How would you wear it?

This one's for you! Came across this Black and white tux waistcoat from Warehouse. I love it but I don't need it, so i'm not buying it :-). But it's got me thinking of ways to wear it.

Carrie's version from the Sex and the City movie.
